U is for Umbrellas on a Rainy Day Art Activity

In addition to our Indoor Rain Science Experiment the children created this art project to go along with our lesson on rain today. I cut out the umbrella and raindrop shapes. The children decorated the umbrella and glued on the raindrops, yarn and craft sticks. Even our 19 month old with a little direction glued on her shapes as well. This is a simple yet fun rainy day activity that doesn’t take long and helps the children work on shapes, colors, fine motor skills and critical thinking.
